Parampara kya kehti hai
Parampara me 7 ko karne wale se zyada sawal poochne wale ka ank kaha gaya hai. Western kitaaben ise 'seeker', 'thinker' ya 'mystic' ka naam deti hain aur vishleshan, research, ekaant aur andar ki taraf mudne se jodti hain — woh aadmi jo maanne se pehle cheez ko khol kar dekhna chahta hai. Indian ank jyotish isi ank ko Ketu se jodkar vairagya, sadhna aur moksha ke bhaav tak le jata hai. Yahi parampara iski mushkil bhi khud batati hai: logon se doori, aur shaq. Yeh sab in kitaabon ka dava hai — kisi tarikh par paida hue logon ke baare me jaanch se nikla nateeja nahi. Numerology vigyan nahi hai.
Across both systems, seven is described as the number of the questioner rather than the doer. Western books label it the seeker, the thinker or the mystic, and associate it with analysis, research, solitude and an inward turn — the person who wants to take a thing apart before believing it. Indian ank jyotish attaches the same number to Ketu, and with it detachment, sadhana and the pull toward moksha. The tradition also names its own strain here: distance from people, and suspicion. All of this is what these books assert about a symbol. None of it is a finding about anyone born on a particular date, and numerology is not a science.

Saat ka bhaari hona numerology se purana hai — nangi aankh se dikhne wale saat classical grah, aur unhi ke naam par bana saat din ka hafta. Neptune 1846 me mila; un saat me woh kabhi tha hi nahi. Purana jo nahi hai woh hai aaj wali trait list: vishleshak, ekaanti, mystic. Pythagoras ke anuyayiyon ne ankon ko charitra zaroor diya tha, lekin Pythagoras ne khud kuch likha nahi aur uska school apni baat gupt rakhta tha — isliye aaj ka koi bhi matlab seedha us tak nahi jodha ja sakta; uska naam baad ke lekhakon ne udhaar liya hai. Seven's prominence is older than numerology: the seven classical planets visible to the naked eye, and the seven-day week named after them, are genuinely ancient. Neptune, discovered only in 1846, was never among them. What is not ancient is the trait list read today — analyst, recluse, mystic. The Pythagoreans did give numbers characters, but Pythagoras left no writings of his own and his school kept its teachings secret, so no specific modern meaning can be traced back to him; his name is authority that later authors borrowed. The modern English letter-value system was built by Mrs L. Dow Balliett (1847-1929) in books of 1904 and 1908 — and she titled the 1904 one 'A System of Numbers as Taught by Pythagoras', which is the borrowing in plain sight. Master numbers 11, 22 and 33 belong to modern, New Age numerology; no ancient source sets them apart as a special class. Ketu comes from the separate and genuinely older Indian Navagraha tradition, where it is the descending lunar node tied to detachment and moksha. The tidy number-to-planet chart, however, is a modern printed form.
