Pudine ki chai gas aur afare ke liye
Peppermint tea for gas and bloating
Taaze pudine ke patte garam paani me daal kar chai ki tarah peene ka tarika. Pet ke marod, gas aur afare me log ise aaram ke liye lete hain.
Kya chahiye
- 8-10 taaze pudine ke patte
- 1 cup garam paani
- chutki bhar kala namak (marzi se)
- 2 boond nimbu (marzi se)
Kaise banate hain
Pudine ke patte dho kar halka masal lijiye taaki khushbu chhoote. Ek cup paani ubaal kar gas band kar dijiye, phir patte daal kar 5 se 7 minute dhak kar rakhiye. Chaan kar, thoda thanda hone par dhire-dhire piyein. Chahein to chutki bhar kala namak ya do boond nimbu daal sakte hain. Khane ke baad ya jab pet bhaari lage tab ek cup, aur din me do-teen cup se zyada nahi. Chai me peppermint oil ki boond kabhi mat daaliye - essential oil peene ke liye nahi hota aur bina doctor ki salaah ke nigalna khatarnak hai. Ek aur chetavni: agar aapko acidity ya seene me jalan rehti hai to pudina ulta pad sakta hai, kyunki NHS peppermint oil ke side effects me heartburn aur indigestion dono ginta hai. Aise me pehle chhota cup lekar dekh lijiye. Bachchon ko garam cup pakadne mat dijiye, jal sakte hain.
Rinse the mint leaves and crush them lightly so the aroma is released. Boil a cup of water, turn off the heat, add the leaves and keep it covered for 5 to 7 minutes. Strain, let it cool a little, and sip slowly. A pinch of black salt or two drops of lemon can go in if you like. Have a cup after a meal or when the stomach feels heavy, and no more than two or three cups a day. Never add drops of peppermint essential oil to the tea - essential oil is not meant to be swallowed and doing so without medical advice is dangerous. One more caution: if you get acidity or a burning chest, mint can make it worse, since the NHS lists heartburn and indigestion among the side effects of peppermint oil. Try a small cup first. Do not hand a hot cup to a child, who can scald.
Parampara kya kehti hai
Gharon me pudina pet thanda karne wali cheez maani jati hai. Kaha jata hai ki bhaari khana khane ke baad pudine ki chai ya pudine ki chutney se gas nikal jati hai aur pet ka marod baith jata hai. Ayurveda aur roz ki ghar wali practice, dono me ise carminative yani gas nikaalne wali cheezon me ginte hain. Ye log jo kehte hain, wahi hai.
Mint is thought of in Indian homes as something that cools the stomach. It is said that mint tea or mint chutney after a heavy meal lets the gas out and settles a griping belly. Both Ayurveda and everyday household practice count it among the carminatives, the things believed to move wind. These are claims people make.

Sabut milta-julta hai
Yahan sabooth aadha-aadha hai, aur ye farq samajhna zaroori hai. Jo trial ka sabooth hai wo alag cheez ka hai: NCCIH ke mutabik 2022 ki ek review me 10 studies aur 1,030 logon ke data se dikha ki enteric-coated peppermint oil capsules IBS ke lakshan aur pet dard me placebo se behtar the, lekin unse side effects bhi zyada hue. Wo capsule khaas tarah se coated hota hai taaki pet me na ghule aur neeche jaakar chhoote - ghar ki bani chai ye nahi kar sakti. Khud chai ke baare me NCCIH saaf kehta hai ki pudine ke patte par bahut kam research hui hai, aur chai surakshit lagti hai par ye batane ka data nahi hai ki wo kaam karti hai. Doosri taraf NHS apni gas wali self-help list me seedha pudine ki chai peene ko kehta hai, aur peppermint oil ko IBS ke marod, afare aur gas ki dawa ke roop me listed karta hai. Yani ek badi health service ise sujhaati hai, par is roop me iska koi trial nahi hua. Aur pudina kuch logon me jalan aur badhazmi barha bhi sakta hai.
Here the evidence is genuinely split, and the split is worth understanding. The trial evidence is for a different preparation: NCCIH reports a 2022 review of 10 studies with 1,030 participants in which enteric-coated peppermint oil capsules beat placebo for overall IBS symptoms and abdominal pain, though they caused more side effects than placebo. That capsule is coated so it survives the stomach and releases further down - a cup of home-brewed tea cannot do that. On the tea itself NCCIH is blunt: very little research has been done on peppermint leaf, and it says peppermint tea appears safe while offering no data on whether it works. On the other side, the NHS self-help list for wind does tell you to drink peppermint tea, and the NHS lists peppermint oil as a medicine for the cramps, bloating and wind of IBS. So a major health service suggests it, but nobody has tested it in this form. Peppermint can also worsen heartburn and indigestion in some people.
