Kya chahiye

  • 2 kachche (hare) aam
  • 2-3 chammach gud ya cheeni
  • 1/2 chhoti chammach kala namak
  • 1/2 chhoti chammach bhuna jeera powder
  • 8-10 pudina ke patte
  • thanda paani (karib 1 litre)

Kaise banate hain

Kachche aam ko chhilke ke saath cooker me do-teen seeti tak ubaal lein, ya seedhe aanch par bhoon lein. Thanda hone par chhilka utaar kar gooda nikaal lein aur guthli alag kar dein. Gooda mixer me gud ya cheeni, kala namak, bhuna jeera aur pudina ke saath peesein. Is gaadhe paste ko thande paani me ghol lein - swad ke hisaab se patla ya gaadha. Chhaan kar glass me daalein. Din me ek-do glass, dopahar ki dhoop me nikalne se pehle ya laut kar. Paste ko fridge me do din tak rakh sakte hain. Ek baat saaf rahe: yeh garmi ke din ka ek thanda paniya drink hai, loo lagne ka jawab nahi. Agar kisi ko bhram, behoshi, jhatke ya garam-sookhi twacha ke saath tez bukhar hai to sharbat banane me waqt na gawayein - use chhaya me litayein, kapde dheele karein, sharir par thanda paani daalein, pankha chalayein aur turant emergency madad bulayein. Behosh ya ulti kar rahe insaan ke munh me kuch bhi na daalein.

Pressure-cook the raw mangoes with the skin on for two or three whistles, or roast them directly over the flame. Once cool, peel them, scoop out the pulp and discard the stone. Grind the pulp with jaggery or sugar, black salt, roasted cumin powder and mint leaves. Stir this thick paste into chilled water until it is as thin as you like, then strain into a glass. One or two glasses a day, before going out into the afternoon sun or after coming back. The paste keeps in the fridge for about two days. Be clear about what this is: a cold drink for a hot day, not the answer to heatstroke. If someone is confused, fainting, fitting, or has a high fever with hot dry skin, do not stop to make a drink - move them into the shade, loosen their clothes, wet the skin with cool water, fan them and call for emergency help. Never put anything in the mouth of someone who is unconscious or vomiting.

Parampara kya kehti hai

Uttar Bharat me maana jata hai ki aam panna loo se bachata hai aur garmi me sharir ki thandak banaye rakhta hai. Kaha jata hai ki pasine ke saath jo namak nikal jata hai, wo kala namak aur gud se wapas mil jata hai. Kai ghar ise garmi ke poore mausam me roz banate hain. Yeh riwaaj aur anubhav ki baat hai - koi lab report nahi.

In north India it is said that aam panna protects you from the loo and keeps the body cool through the hot months. The claim is that the salt sweated out is put back by the black salt and jaggery. Many homes make a jug of it every day all summer. This is custom and lived habit, not a laboratory result.

Humne PubMed par 'aam panna' search kiya - ek bhi paper nahi mila. Kachche aam ya is sharbat par insaanon me loo, garmi ya dehydration ko lekar koi clinical trial hume nahi mila. Matlab research ne ise thik se jaancha hi nahi; iska matlab yeh bhi nahi ki yeh bekaar hai. Itna zaroor pakka hai ki garmi me paani aur namak lena zaroori hai - WHO kehta hai ek ghante me ek cup paani aur din me kam se kam 2-3 litre. Aam panna ek meetha, namkeen taral hai, to hydration me ginti me aata hai. Baaki 'loo se bachav' wala daava abhi bina saboot ke hai. Ek aur baat: ismein upar se namak aur cheeni dono hain, isliye jinhe namak ya shakkar par paabandi hai unke liye yeh saada paani ki jagah nahi le sakta.

We searched PubMed for 'aam panna' and got zero results. No human clinical trial on raw mango or this drink for heat illness or dehydration turned up anywhere. Research has simply not tested it, which is not the same as saying it does nothing. What is solid is separate: WHO advises roughly one cup of water an hour and at least 2-3 litres a day in heat, and aam panna is a sweet, salted fluid that counts towards that. The specific claim that it prevents loo has nothing behind it either way. One more thing: it carries both added salt and added sugar, so for anyone told to limit either it is not a substitute for plain water.
